XOM: Longterm Buying Point?

If you believe in long-term buy and hold.. this is probably a good opportunity to snag some $XOM.
Here is the weekly chart setup:

One thing to note: it could be forming a bear flag so keep a stop below the trendline in the unlikely scenario that breaks down.

GS: looking ripe

$GS is looking like it might break out of its range here:

There has been divergence with the MACD lately and it is breaking out of the range with some extra volume... This is similar to when it made its first run at 200 on Sept 8th.

I expect a nice run up to earnings announcement on Jan. 21st.

WFR: Nice bottom pattern

Beautiful bottom pattern here for $WFR, looks ready to break out at any minute for a quick 18-20% run to resistance near 15.30:

This one could run with the semis considering they sell the raw material aka silicon wafers, to the chip industry.

Always watch out for earnings day (1/18/2010).

First Post!... FSLR about to BTFO

For the first post ever, I present to you.... $FSLR:

It is bouncing off the 50 day EMA and should close that gap in the next month or two at 148.80 (10% isn't bad) ... It could then break out of that HUGE triangle pattern spanning over 17 months.
Mutual funds may need to add to their positions in this relatively new S&P 500 stock in 2010 as well...

Never trade earnings day (2/24/2010) with $FSLR unless done very carefully with options... Iron condor possibility.

Oil goes up, solar goes up.
Keep an eye on this one.
